Terry Moran

Introduction

Terry Moran has served on the faculties of the Community Education Division of the Eastman School of Music and the Pre-College Division of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Her students have taken first prizes at the U.S. Stravinsky Competition, Southeastern Competition and Festival, Federation of Music Clubs, Lima Symphony Competition, Northeast Division of the OMTA Competition, Southwest Division of the Buckeye Competition and the U.S. round of the Horowitz Competition to be held in Kiev, Ukraine. She was appointed to the CIM faculty in 2006.

Moran's students have been accepted for collegiate study at Eastman School of Music, Indiana University, Oberlin Conservatory, University of Michigan School of Music, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and the New England Conservatory.

Her students have also been accepted into festivals or master classes to study with renowned professors, including Natalya Antonova, Malcom Bilson, Alan Chow, Tinka Knop, John Perry, Elisabeth Pridonoff, Ann Schein, Abby Simon, Nelita True, Eleanor Trach, Vladimir Tropp, Frank Weinstock, Dina Yoffe and Lisa Yoffe.

Eastman School of Music: Created and organized the Summer Piano Festival, which included workshops, lectures, competition, and Kilbourn Hall faculty recitals.
