Grace Huang
GRACE HUANG, Piano, received a BM in Piano Performance from Vanderbilt and MM and DMA degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota. Previous teachers include Lydia Artymiw, Craig Nies, Roland Schneller, and Sue Hudson; pedagogy studies were with Rebecca Shockley, Karen Krieger and Elizabeth Cormier. Solo, collaborative and chamber music performances have taken her throughout the U.S. Festival appearances include Aspen, Eastern, Madeline Island and Hampden-Sydney. She has performed in master classes for Misha Dichter, Santiago Rodriguez, Christina Dahl and Ursula Oppens. Dr. Huang is also active as an adjudicator and clinician, and her articles have been published in Piano Pedagogy Forum and Georgia Music News. Her students are recipients of local and state honors in the Midwest. She was previously on the faculties of Millikin University, University of Georgia, St. Cloud State University and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
