Suzuki Cello Teacher
Location: The Cleveland Institute of Music, Sato Center for Suzuki Studies

Description: The Cleveland Institute of Music Sato Center for Suzuki Studies is a well established Suzuki Program and teacher training center for violin and cello that currently enrolls 115 students. The Program offers lessons in violin, viola, cello, bass, and piano. Group classes and music theory are part of the Suzuki curriculm. The CIM Preparatory Division also offers student courses in performance, eurhythmics, orchestra, chamber music, and group classes in music theory.
Duties: The Cleveland Institute of Music Sato Center for Suzuki Studies is seeking a full-time Suzuki Cello teacher to teach private and Saturday group lessons, attend monthly faculty meetings, organize outreach performances and work with the director in organizing Sato cello events.
Qualifications: MM in music performance and/or education with an emphasis in cello. Registered Suzuki Cello Teacher Training Books 1-8, proven performance ability, and a minimum of five years teaching experience preferred.
Salary: Full Benefits. Salary commensurate with experience and studio size.
