Information Technology Services
The Department of Information Systems is committed to facilitating the use of information technology to promote the Institute's mission of providing students with a professional, world-class education in the art of music.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality planning, service, and support to the administrative staff so they can provide the best service possible for our faculty and students.
The services offered to the administration include software support, hardware support, printers and peripherals, ordering software, setup and configuration of technology equipment, web services and backups. The department is a single point of contact for all technology planning and computing needs.
Technology Learning Center (TLC)
The Technology Learning Center (TLC) is located in the basement of the Main Building, Room 20. The Lab is comprised of 10 Dell Workstations running Windows 7 Professional. Each is equipped with the following:
- Internet access
- Midi keyboards
- Stereo headphones
- Finale 2012
- Sibelius 7.1.2
- MacGamut 6.1.8
- Microsoft Office Plus 2007
The TLC also provides free printing of academic materials.
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9am-10pm and Saturday & Sunday, 10am-9pm, with Student Lab Monitors on-duty for assistance.
