CIM PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE PERFORMS IN MIXON HALL APRIL 27

The CIM PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE will perform under the direction of PAUL YANCICH on April 27 in Kulas Hall at 8:00 p.m.
Paul Yancich is co-head of the timpani and percussion department at CIM. He has been principal timpanist of The Cleveland Orchestra since 1981. Mr. Yancich received a Bachelor of Music degree from CIM as a student of Cloyd Duff and Richard Weiner. Before his Cleveland appointment, he served as the timpanist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and on the faculty at Georgia State University. Mr. Yancich has given master classes and recitals in the U.S., Europe, Asia and New Zealand. He performed as timpani soloist with The Cleveland Orchestra for the world premiere of James Oliverio's Timpani Concerto No. 1.
