SHALL WE DANCE? FAMILY CONCERT OFFERED APRIL 25, SCHOOL SHOW APRIL 22

The CIM ORCHESTRA and conducting students DOMENICO BOYAGIAN and JASON RODGERS will bring children to their feet while introducing them to some important elements of music, movement and rhythm during CIM's orchestral adventure for the whole family, Shall We Dance?. These concerts (April 22 at 10:30 a.m. for school groups and April 25 at 2:00 p.m. for families) are designed to engage children's creativity as they explore different types of dance, such as the waltz and polka, through music. Selections include Copland's Hoedown from Four Dances from Rodeo, Bernstein's Mambo from West Side Story and Infernal Galop by Offenbach, can-can music for a high-kicking French chorus-line.

Tickets for school groups are $6 a piece. Tickets for the Family Concert are $6 for children 12 and under, $9 for adults and $30 for a family of four or more (immediate family members only, please.) For more information, please call 216.791.5000, ext. 411 or visit cim.edu.
