BRASS ENSEMBLES PERFORM MAY 5

CIM Brass Ensembles will perform Tuesday, May 5 at 8:00 p.m. in Kulas Hall under the direction of Richard Stout. Mr. Stout is a member of the trombone faculty at CIM and has been a member of The Cleveland Orchestra since 2001. From 1988 until 2000, he was a member of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, being appointed principal trombone in 1998. He has also served as principal trombone of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and second trombone of the Eastern Music Festival. Mr. Stout received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music. He was a substitute player with the Houston Symphony Orchestra and Philadelphia Orchestra and performed as soloist with the Jacksonville Symphony and at the Eastern Music Festival.
