FREDERICA von STADE PERFORMS IN MIXON HALL MASTERS SERIES MAY 16, PRESENTS MASTER CLASS MAY 17

Internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade will provide the final performance of the inaugural season of the Mixon Hall Masters Series, May 16 at 8:00 p.m. She has enriched the world of classical music for three decades with her appearances in opera, concert and recital. She is well known to audiences through her numerous appearances on PBS specials and Live from Lincoln Center telecasts. For this engagement, Ms. von Stade will perform works by Fauré, Schubert, R. Strass, Debussy, Jake Heggie, Stephen Soundheim and more. Specific repertoire to be announced. The Mixon Hall Masters Series is sponsored by Donley's, Inc.
