Winner of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition pianist Daniil Trifonov has demonstrated musical maturity beyond his years, winning top prizes in renowned competitions and performing as a soloist last season with the Mariinsky Orchestra at Carnegie Hall and with the New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher Hall. He makes his triumphant return to Carnegie Hall February 5 in his solo recital debut, performing works by Scriabin and Liszt, along with Chopin’s dazzling Preludes.
