The following employment opportunities are available: The Cleveland Institute of Music has an immediate opening for a highly motivated individual to design, develop and maintain the institute's web pages, web sites and web servers for all areas within the organization. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills plus the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area (or equivalent experience) and at least three years experience with web server and application server administration, including Apache on Linux and IIS on Windows server, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. Knowledge of ASP and Microsoft SQL server a plus. Some PhotoShop skills and a good eye for design helpful. This is a full-time position with benefits. No phone calls please. This position is responsible for the production budget, hiring of all designers and staff, scheduling, and training and supervising student workers. This position also provides support for the Concert and Events office as well as working with them on scheduling space and use of equipment. The qualified candidate will be skilled in set and property design, experienced with current theatrical technology, organized and able to follow processes. Please send resume with salary history to: Human Resources Location: The Cleveland Institute of Music, Sato Center for Suzuki Studies Description: The Cleveland Institute of Music Sato Center for Suzuki Studies is a well established Suzuki Program and teacher training center for violin and cello that currently enrolls 150 students. The Program offers lessons in violin, viola, cello, bass, and piano. Group classes and music theory are part of the Suzuki curriculm. The CIM Preparatory Division also offers student courses in Dalcroze Eurhythmics, orchestra, and chamber music. Duties: The Cleveland Institute of Music Sato Center for Suzuki Studies is seeking a full-time Suzuki Violin teacher. Qualifications: MM in music performance and/or education with an emphasis on violin. SAA Registered Teacher Training Violin Books 1-8 preferred, excellent playing skills, and a minimum of two years teaching experience. Salary: Full Benefits.
