The Women's Committee of the Cleveland Institute Of Music presents Inner Harmony, mind, body and music, Wednesday, June 11 at 12:00 noon in Mixon Hall.
Inner Harmony, mind, body and music features Dr. Kamal Chemali, a neurologist with the Cleveland Clinic and students from the Cleveland Institute Of Music. This unique program will focus on the relationship between music and the brain. Become educated about the field of "neuromusic," which studies the effect of music on the normal physiology of the nervous system. This enlightening lecture demonstration features CIM student performers illustrating how different music affects your heart and body. And finally, experience music in CIM's new Mixon Hall, a magical composition for the eyes and ears.
