Opera Welcomes You to CIM!

Please join me at the Cleveland Institute of Music for three wonderful evenings of opera.

This is my fourth year at CIM. I've been having a wonderful time and, more importantly, so have those opera lovers who have followed me from Playhouse Square. Our students are remarkable – many of them truly potential stars of the future. The CIM Orchestra, under the direction of Harry Davidson, is outstanding. The small size of Kulas Hall provides a unique, intimate operatic experience.

CIM is easily accessible – in University Circle, just a minute from Severance Hall and the Art Museum. Ample lighted parking is directly across the street from the school – and it's free! For those of you who decide to join us this year, we've arranged special savings at nearby restaurants so you can "make a night of it."

You can't find a better entertainment bargain. And there's no place that you can be guaranteed so much pure pleasure.

This brochure will tell you about our exciting programs. Our centerpiece, full-scale production, will be an all-time favorite, Mozart's The Magic Flute. Our two scenes programs offer some of the greatest musical hits in the 400-year history of opera, as well as some less familiar musical gems.

Don't delay – order your tickets today! Last season was a virtual sell-out and we anticipate great demand again this season. For those of you who purchase tickets to all three productions, we offer you a very special "end of the season" party prior to the April performances.

I look forward to, once again, sharing with you some wonderful evenings of opera.

Cordially,
