Dean's Welcome
I'm deeply honored and thrilled to be joining the Cleveland Institute of Music as Dean of the Conservatory.
I have long admired the Institute as one of the great Schools of Music, and look forward to joining the wonderful faculty, staff, students, and community that have made the institution what it is today. As we collectively plan the future for the school under President Smirnoff's leadership, I'm delighted to have the opportunity to participate in this historic process.
This is such an exciting time in the world of music - musicians and institutions are re-examining and redefining who they are, what they do, what they want to do and what is important in their lives; at the same time, local and global communities are going through this same process within our evolving inter-connected world. At CIM, we will be pursuing artistic mastery and relevance in this 21st century world and developing a rich, vibrant musical community at the heart of a cultural center within the great city of Cleveland.
I've had a wonderful experience so far with the Cleveland Institute of Music, and look forward to the future!
With best wishes,
Adrian Daly,
Dean of the Conservatory
