Weekend Events
Convocation - May 14, 4:30 pm
A special event to recognize achievements of CIM students.
The Convocation features:
- Alumni Achievement Winners
- Presser Scholar presentation
- Performers
- Elizabeth Tredent, mezzo-soprano
- Elliott Golub, with President Joel Smirnoff, performing movements of Bach's Double Violin Concerto in D Minor, BWV 1043, I. Vivace, II. Largo ma non troppo
- Tonic Five Wind Quintet: Madeline Lucas, flute; Wei Wang, oboe; Kai-Wei Chuang, clarinet; Anthony J. Slusser, bassoon; Ian Petruzzi, horn

Commencement - May 15, 10 am, Kulas Hall
CIM President Joel Smirnoff will confer degrees on 164 graduates during CIM's 2010 Commencement Ceremony.
- Tickets
- Commencement is not open to the public. Tickets are required for graduates and their families. (Graduating students do not need a ticket.)
- Graduating students are responsible for ordering tickets. Limit 6 tickets per graduate. (Graduates should not order a ticket for themselves)

Alumni Connections Concert: From Baroque to Broadway - May 16, 3 pm
The lineup of performers is impressive, including several members of The Cleveland Orchestra who are CIM graduates. Their performances will offer a wide variety of styles, featuring works from the Baroque to Broadway and Jazz. A unique silent auction will take place before the concert and at intermission, with music provided by harpist Jodi Guinn.

- $75 - Concert and Meet-The-Artists Reception

All proceeds benefit the CIM Alumni Association's fund for student prizes and audition travel assistance.
