I. The Robinson Music Library

How the library is organized

Collections

All printed materials, current magazines, and study areas are located on the main level of the library. The Media Center, on the lower level, features individual listening/viewing carrels, two group rooms, and the library's extensive media collection.

1. Audio/visual resources

At CIM, we reserve our audio/visual resources (compact discs, records, DVD) for use in the library only.

2. Non-circulating books/scores

Books and music which may not leave the library are shelved in the "Reference" collection. These tend to be unique resources such as encyclopedias, collected works, and bibliographies.
