Reference staff are available for questions that begin with "Do you have...?" "How do I...?" "Where can I find...?" They can demonstrate how to find books or scores, provide guidance on researching a topic for a paper or other coursework and can give advice on the correct form for footnotes or bibliographies. If you need a hand searching the online catalog or one of the library's other online resources, consult the reference staff.

Ask the Circulation Manager about placing recalls or putting a book or score on reserve; for questions about missing parts or fines or overdues (books and scores); for updating your circulation patron record; for information about interlibrary loans; and to report a missing book or score. She is also available to assist with locating scores & books in the library.

Denise supervises the operations of the Media Center. Go to Denise for instruction on how to use equipment in the Media Center; for help finding AV materials in the online catalog; for help using streamed audio resources like NAXOS, including creating playlists; for AV reserves and creating listening exam study materials; to report problems with media equipment; to make suggestions for enhancements to the Media Center.

Andria and Bernie cover many of the hours at the Media Service Desk. Like Denise, they can help you search the online catalog for AV materials and give assistance with equipment and the streamed audio resources. You can also make suggestions and report equipment problems to them.
