DMA Dissertations Held Locally

DMA Documents at the Robinson Music Library (PDF) - lists dissertations written for CIM degrees held by the Robinson Music Library.

Both the Robinson and Kulas Music Libraries collect dissertations written at other schools. These may be found by searching the library catalog. The Kulas Music Library also maintains a list of DMA Dissertations from other schools (PDF) at the Kulas Music Library.

Requesting Dissertations

  • To request a CIM dissertation, submit a storage request at the Circulation desk (Robinson Music Library). Allow one day for retrieval. CIM Dissertations are for in-library use and may not be photocopied.

  • Interlibrary Loan. Dissertations are typically held by the libraries of the educational institutions where they were completed. Some libraries maintain microfilm copies of dissertations. Many libraries will lend a copy (print or microfilm) of a dissertation. The library has a microfilm reader/printer.
