There are many ways to ask your question:
Visit our Reference desk in person
Library staff are available to answer your questions and to help you with your research. The reference desk is located on the main level near the Reference collection (just beyond the Circulation desk).
Use this e-mail form to submit your question to the reference staff. On weekdays, library staff will typically respond within 24 hours. Questions received Friday-Sunday will be responded to by the following Tuesday.

Schedule an appointment
Get personalized help with a research project such as a class assignment, paper, or bibliography. Research consultations will introduce key library resources related to a specific topic, demonstrate effective search strategies for research databases and other tools, and introduce key strategies for accomplishing research. To initiate a consultation, submit this form.
* Note: The Ask a Librarian services are solely intended for the use of CIM library patrons. Outside requests will be answered at the discretion of the Robinson Music Library reference staff.
Laurie Lake is available to develop and teach classes about specific resources in music. Instruction may be custom designed to address key library resources and skills for a class assignment. Contact Laurie Lake to set up library instruction in your class.
