The Robinson Music Library can borrow materials from other libraries on your behalf using interlibrary loan. Interlibrary loan is used only when all avenues at CIM and CWRU have been fully explored.
Interlibrary loan is a service available to conservatory students, faculty, Prep./Continuing Ed. faculty and CIM staff for the purpose of supporting:
- Major areas of performance or research
- Areas of expertise for CIM
If you are a CWRU faculty member or student, consult KSL Interlibrary Loan Services.
Requesting an Interlibrary Loan
For books and dissertations, search WorldCat to determine the item you would like to request and its accession (OCLC) number. (You do not need an OCLC number for journal/magazine requests). Questions about WorldCat may be directed to Laurie Lake.
Once you have this information, submit an ILL Request form online. You will receive a confirmation of the request and email notification when it has been received by the Robinson Music Library.
There are no limits on ILL requests for students or faculty members.
