A: Each library patron has been assigned a unique account number. These numbers are different from your Case account number. The account number is located in your patron account. The Circulation Desk can provide you with the this number upon request (CIM ID required). You will need your name (as it appears in your library account), account number and PIN when you login to your library account.

A: To view your account once you have already set it up, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Library Catalog: catalog.cwru.edu
    2. Select "My Library Account"
    3. Enter your Name, Account number and PIN.

A: To set up your account (first-time users or reset passwords) follow these steps:

    1. Get your account number from the Circulation Desk. Confirm the form of your name in your library account.
    2. Go to the Library Catalog: catalog.cwru.edu
    3. Select "My Library Account"
    4. Enter your name
    5. Enter your account number in under "Your Case Account Number" field.
    6. Leave "Your PIN number" blank
    7. Select Submit
    8. Create a password for your account. The password must contain both letters and numbers without repeated values (e.g. aabb112 would not work but abcd123 would)

Note: If you are unable to create a password, please verify the form of your name and account number at the Circulation Desk.

A: If you have forgotten your PIN, ask a library staff member at the Circulation Desk to delete the PIN from your patron account. You may then use your account number to reset your password (see above FAQ, "How do I set up a password for my library account?")
