Richard Stout
Trombone, has been a member of The Cleveland Orchestra since 2001. He received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music. From 1988 until 2000, he was a member of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, being appointed Principal Trombone in 1998. He has also served as Principal Trombone of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and Second Trombone of the Eastern Music Festival. He was a substitute player with the Houston Symphony Orchestra and Philadelphia Orchestra and performed as soloist with the Jacksonville Symphony and at the Eastern Music Festival. Mr. Stout was appointed to the CIM faculty in 2001.
