Bruce Egre

Head, Audio Recording degree program, received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Northwestern University. He also studied classical guitar and audio recording at CIM. President and chief recording engineer of Azica Records, a Cleveland-based record company specializing in classical, jazz and Latin music, he is also a lecturer at Case Western Reserve University in audio recording. He is recording engineer for The Cleveland Orchestra broadcast service at Severance Hall and Blossom Music Center and the Cleveland Museum of Art Department of Musical Arts. Active as a freelance recording engineer, he maintains projects for numerous record companies. A member of the Audio Engineering Society and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, he was appointed to the CIM faculty in 2003.
