Voice, received a Professional Studies diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master of Music degree from The University of Akron. Roles include Mozart's Arminda and Countess Almaviva, Puccini's Suor Angelica, Floydd's Susannah, Menotti's Laetitia and Duke's Pernille. Ms. Wohlschlager was a featured soloist at the Spoleto Music Festival in Italy and won the opportunity to sing aria selections from Bellini's opera I Puritani in Graz, Austria under the baton of Edoardo Müller. She has performed opera in the schools through the Children's Concert Society of Akron and has sung in recitals for the Jefferson Arts Council Concert Series, the Cleveland Institute of Music Women's Committee and the French Society of Cleveland, among others. Ms. Wohlschlager was a recipient of the O.D. Taliferro Opera Scholarship, the Tuesday Musical Club Scholarship, the Max Berman Award for Outstanding Vocal Performance and the Dewey and Mary Gilley Memorial Award for Distinguished Opera Performance. She has performed with Duke Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Opera, Opera Cleveland, and the AIMS Festival Orchestra. Ms. Wohlschlager has attended summer music festivals in Graz, Austria and Rimini, Italy. Master class experiences have included working with Mirella Freni, John Wustman, Elly Ameling, Janet Bookspan, Carlo Peri, Nora Sands and Warren Jones. Ms. Wohlschlager also serves on the adjunct voice faculty of Malone College in Canton and is a music specialist at the Outreach Academy, where she works with students with multiple disabilities. She was appointed to the CIM faculty in 2007.
