Previously listed in the National Dean's List, Who's Who, and a recipient of the All-American Scholar award. Professional affiliations include the Music Educators National Conference, Ohio Music Education Association, Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, National Eagle Scout Association, Mu Phi Epsilon, and the Omnicron Delta Kappa honorary, among others.
