Directed by Sandra Shapiro, the rich and varied works available in the chamber music repertoire provide endless opportunities to explore and expand one's musical horizons.

Students will have the chance to meet and work with other young musicians of similar abilities and musical interests. The course will combine coachings, supervised rehearsals, ear training, chamber music literature classes, rehearsal techniques, Dalcroze classes, public master classes and a final performance.

Each student will participate in two groups with one project (piece) for each group. In order to allow adequate preparation, the pieces will be assigned and sent to the student in advance of the camp. Placement will be determined by level, ability and knowledge. Musical assignments will include repertoire for piano & string ensembles, piano, wind ensembles, string & wind ensembles, string ensembles and piano duet.

Each day will begin with a movement class and will conclude with a session devoted to faculty and guest artist master classes, lectures on chamber music, sight-reading and other group activities.
