Special Events

For special events and occasions, Recording Services provides sound reinforcement systems to Kulas and Mixon Halls, along with various other venues on the CIM campus.

Systems and capabilities include both handheld and "over-the-ear" wireless microphones, handheld microphones and slender "flamingo" style microphones (no lavalier-type microphones are provided). Sound reinforcement also includes CD, DVD and laptop playback along with video projection. System components feature Shure and Audio Technica wireless systems, Yamaha Digital Consoles and EAW loudspeakers.

In Mixon Hall, video projection is available via a Christie Roadster S+12K SXGA+ 12,000 Lumen DLP Projector and a large motorized projection screen that is suspended over the Mixon Hall Stage. Laptops, DVD and other sources may be connected to the projector. Other video projection options are available.
