Music students from across the country and around the world want to come to the Cleveland Institute of Music to study with our renowned faculty and become part of one of the top arts and culture communities in the country.
More than a thousand apply and hundreds audition for some 150 openings each year. Of course, for many, passing the audition and getting that "fat envelope" full of admission forms is just the beginning. They want to come here – whether or not they can often depends on the scholarships they are offered.
