FacebookWelcome to the incoming class of 2018! In addition to the general CIM Facebook community, we have created this group specifically for your class to answer any and all of your questions you have about CIM, living in the residence hall, etc. We also want you to get to know your fellow classmates before you come to CIM... so ask away!


Incoming Student Resources

  • First-Year Undergraduate Orientation: Sunday, Aug 17 - Sunday, Aug 24
    New CIM students are required to attend Orientation.
    Move-in day at Cutter House Residence Hall and the beginning of First-Year Orientation activities is Sunday, August 17th. Mark your calendars now and we look forward to seeing you here.
    A preliminary schedule of activities will be available on May 1st.
  • Housing:
    On-Campus Housing
    Required for new first-year students and transfer students with less than two years collegiate experience

    Off-Campus Housing
    Available to undergraduate transfer students with two or more years of collegiate experience.

  • Meal Plan Form
    Download and read the CIM Meal Plan PDF and choose the Meal Plan that is best for you, then click the link to the form above to submit your choice.
  • Medical Forms & Info
    Click this link to find all the info you need for insurance, vaccination records, and other health & medical related issues.

Collaborative Placement Audition
(Piano Majors Only)

One of our goals at CIM is to educate the "complete" musician. Making music with fellow musicians is an integral part of the CIM experience. On Friday, August 23rd, all incoming Piano Majors are requested to take a Collaborative Placement Audition. This 6-minute audition will consist of an excerpt of a prepared piece and sight-reading.

Please prepare the following:

Mozart Violin and Piano Sonata in E minor, K. 304 (First movement exposition)
