The Friends of CIM (FCIM) is a dynamic organization of volunteers who concentrate their efforts in promoting CIM's Preparatory and Continuing Education Division. The group assists with the many outreach projects presented annually by the Institute and offers members the opportunity to enhance their appreciation of music. The FCIM welcomes members of all ages and backgrounds.

For more than 20 years, the Friends of CIM have encouraged the awareness, education, and participation of music lovers in the Cleveland Institute of Music. The FCIM has accomplished that mission by hosting concerts, social events and musical fundraisers, all with light-hearted fellowship and a serious commitment to having a good time.
