CIM is pleased to announce one of its most exciting concert seasons to date, featuring our world-class faculty, student performers, esteemed guest artists and The Boulez Legacy tribute concert series, which celebrates Pierre Boulez’s music and legacy in a city where he had one of his longest musical relationships. Guest Artists at CIM

Guest artists from around the globe visit CIM each year, from musicians and composers to instructors and conductors. These renowned artists host master classes, seminars and private lessons and impart valuable advice on everything from color and blending to finding the fun in Mozart.

The 2016-17 season brings artists and ensembles such as the Juilliard String Quartet, cellist Caroline Stinson, violist Phillip Ying and cellist David Ying of the Ying Quartet, pianist Jon Kimura Parker and conductor and CIM’s Distinguished Principal Guest artist, Jahja Ling.

CIM’s Distance Learning Department Wins Pinnacle Award

The Cleveland Institute of Music’s Distance Learning department has won the 2015-16 Pinnacle Award from the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC) for “remarkable quality of educational content and exceptional skill at program delivery.” The annual award is based on feedback from teachers who have used Distance Learning’s content in their classrooms or for their own personal development.

Located in University Circle, Cleveland's cultural hub, CIM is easily accessible to all music lovers - providing hundreds of concerts annually, most free of charge.
