    The popular series of monthly concerts in the galleries featuring young artists from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the joint program with Case Western Reserve University’s early and baroque music programs enters its fifth season. Outstanding conservatory musicians present mixed programs of chamber music amid the museum’s collections for a unique and intimate experience—concerts regularly feature instruments from the museum’s keyboard collection.

    From standard repertoire to unknown gems, these early-evening, hour-long performances are a delightful after-work encounter or the start of a night out. Programs announced the week of the performance.

Theory, Composition. Head, Suzuki music theory program. B.A., music, dance, fine arts interdisciplinary, University of California-Irvine; M.M., D.M.A., composition, The Cleveland Institute of Music. Principal teachers include Donald Erb, composition; Theodore Johnson and Gary Bovyer, clarinet. Summer studies with composer George Tsontakis and participation in the Aspen Music Festival Center for Advanced Compositional Studies with Bernard Rands. Commissions from The Cleveland Orchestra, Canton and Akron Symphonies, Cleveland Composer's Guild, Church of the Covenant, and flutist Sutton Cecil. Works performed by The Cleveland Orchestra, Akron, Canton and Grand Rapids Symphonies, Myriad, Ellis String Quartet, Alpine Duo, Todd Wilson, and Epicyle New Music Ensemble. Several works broadcast over WCLV. Choral anthem, "My Peace," recorded on the Church of the Covenant's "American Music" CD. Member of ASCAP, Cleveland Composer's Guild and Phi Kappa Lambda. Appointed to CIM faculty, 1989.
