    Edna Golandsky, Founder and Artistic Director of the renowned Golandsky Institute, presents a workshop and Q&A session for area piano students. The Institute is the preeminent center for the teaching of the Taubman Approach, which gives pianists the tools to play with brilliance and ease.

  • Cleveland International Music Festival - Faculty Recital

    The 1st Cleveland International Music Festival will be held from July 29th, 2016 to August 6th, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio. World-famous music maestros and eminent music educators will offer young pianists, string players and singers individual professional instruction. Cleveland is a city with abundant musical resources, and the Cleveland International Music Festival, with professionalism and precision, aim to cultivate CIMF as one of the most influential music festivals internationally.

Modern facilities help serve the Cleveland Institute of Music's mission by providing students and faculty with world-class computer technology, performance spaces, recording equipment, and other benefits.

From the shared CIM / Case Western Reserve University high-powered fiber optic internet service to the newly built masterpiece, Mixon Hall, CIM is outfitted to offer the very best to students, performers, and the community.

Hosting an Event at CIM

If you are interested in hosting an event at CIM, the Institute does allow groups to rent its facilities. Main Building Hours

Summer 2016 Building Hours

Subject to change on concert evenings, during vacations, and when deemed necessary by the school administration, hours during the academic year are as follows:

  • Monday through Thursday, 7:15 am - l2:00 am
  • Friday, 7:15 am - 11:00 pm
  • Saturday, 7:45 am - 11:00 pm
  • Sunday, 11:00 am - 11:00 pm

Vacation building hours are published in advance of each vacation period, and daily building hours are included on the bi-weekly calendar which is posted on the bulletin boards.
