CLEVELAND, OHIO - January 30, 2012 - It is with a sense of excitement and anticipation that the Cleveland Institute of Music announces the appointment of Mr. Ivan Zenaty to the Violin faculty beginning fall 2012.

Concerning the appointment, President Joel Smirnoff said, "A rigorous and thoughtful process resulted in the unanimous opinion of CIM's violin faculty that Ivan Zenaty possesses the special gifts violinistically, pedagogically, musically and personally that suit the musical philosophy and historic excellence of CIM's faculty and students and its uniquely supportive environment."

Mr. Zenaty will be at CIM for audition day on February 19 and will stay through most of the following week to begin his relationship with the school through meaningful musical personal interactions with students, faculty and staff.
