Timothy Cutler is the creator of the Internet Music Theory Database, the first large-scale anthology of music theory examples maintained on the Internet. His current research focuses on issues of Schenkerian analysis, music theory and ear-training pedagogy, nineteenth-century virtuosity and performance style in the recorded era. Also a composer, Dr. Cutler has compositions recorded on ERM Media's “Masterworks of the New Era” series.
