Repertoire Database

To use the database select the desired composer. Scroll down the table of works until you find the work in which you are interested. Please note that the lists do not always appear in alphabetical order.

The CIM Repertoire Database was developed in 2002-2004 by the Library staff as an inside-CIM tool to assist staff in other offices with program preparation. The goal was to produce an authoritative listing of composers and works with correct spellings, consistent formats for titles, and names of movements. The inclusion of movements is a particularly important feature as there is no existing one-stop source of that information.

Sources used to develop the list of works including past CIM programs, Cleveland Orchestra programs and several authoritative sources within the library. The database consists of over 300 orchestral works including concertos and more that 200 works of chamber music including strings quartets and trios, chamber works with piano, and miscellaneous chamber works.

Upon the publication of each year's CIM program calendar the database is updated. If there are corrections or additions to be made, please notify Janet Winzenburger, Acquisitions Librarian and Orchestra Library Supervisor.
