The Cleveland Institute of Music is proud to partner with and host the Sphinx Organization and Sphinx Performance Academy (SPA). SPA is a cornerstone program of the Sphinx Organization’s mission to transform the lives of people through the power of diversity in the arts. This full-scholarship chamber music and solo performance program is designed for string players, ages 11-17. As a program with a primary focus on cultural diversity, SPA seeks to actively recruit and engage students from cultural backgrounds that are underrepresented in the field of classical music.
SPA students will live on the Case Western Reserve campus, study at CIM with Sphinx faculty and meet with admissions counselors from both schools to learn more about the music school admission process.
