At CIM, it is our goal to help you as much as we can on your journey to musical and academic success. We have on-campus resources in place for you to receive career advice, acquire new repertoire, research and edit your academic papers, make high-quality recordings, and more.

  • The Center for Innovative Musicianship: From entrepreneurial studies to artist citizenship, the Center's offerings pair with a rigorous Conservatory curriculum to explore the full spectrum of a meaningful creative career. The Center empowers continued growth by providing resources to articulate artistic goals, attract audience, solve issues of access, and monetize a livelihood centered in classical music.
  • Robinson Music Library: Just as CIM embraces the legacy of the past and promotes the continuing evolution of music, the library provides a full spectrum of resources, from traditional print materials to electronic resources. The library supports and supplements the initiatives of the faculty in developing the full artistic potential of CIM students.
  • CIM Writing Center: The CIM Writing Center exists for students, faculty, and staff to receive writing help in many genres such as academic papers, graduate school admission essays, and cover letters/resumes. You can bring your work at any stage, from brainstorming to final proofreading.
  • Recording Arts & Services: At CIM, we have access to an array of advanced recording technology and faculty who are at the top of their field. Make sure that you take advantage of all that is at your disposal here by making some high-quality recordings using either the recording equipment built into the concert halls or by checking out a camera or recording cart from the library.
