Thank you for considering a gift to the Cleveland Institute of Music. Alumni, parents and friends make gifts to CIM with many kinds of assets and in a variety of forms. Options include cash, checks, credit card payments, gifts of marketable securities, and other assets. Checks should be made payable to "Cleveland Institute of Music" and mailed to CIM at 11021 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106. CIM accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Donate Stock

A gift of appreciated securities that you have held for more than one year is frequently the most economic way to give. You will be eligible to take a federal income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift for up to 30% of your adjusted gross income and will not have to recognize the appreciation as capital gain.

To facilitate your gift of securities, you or the transferring broker should please provide us:

• Donor’s name and complete address
• Name and number of securities to be transferred
