Cleveland Institute of Music Women’s Committee

For more than 70 years, the Women’s Committee has proudly supported the talented young musicians of the Conservatory.

The Women's Committee Student Assistance Fund enables many worthy students to participate in workshops, competitions, and festivals around the world.

The annual Audition Day Lunches give members a "hands-on" opportunity to welcome hundreds of prospective students and their families to CIM. Over 1000 complimentary lunches are served to auditioning students who come to CIM from around the world.

The Women's Committee is one of the largest donors to CIM's Annual Fund, raising funds through benefit events and other musical programs.

The Friends of CIM (FCIM) is a dynamic organization of volunteers who concentrate their efforts in promoting CIM's Preparatory and Continuing Education Division. The group assists with the many outreach projects presented annually by the Institute and offers members the opportunity to enhance their appreciation of music. The Friends of CIM welcome members of all ages and backgrounds.

For more than twenty years, the Friends of CIM have encouraged the awareness, education, and participation of music lovers in the Cleveland Institute of Music. FCIM has accomplished that mission by hosting concerts, social events and musical fundraisers, all with light-hearted fellowship and a serious commitment to having a good time.
