Introduction

Dr. McGuire is a teacher of English for adult learners and a researcher of language development. He has trained thousands of students of all levels in the United States, China, and Japan for more than fifteen years. His research interests include language development and education as a means of developing personal and professional identity. 

Education

He holds a Ph.D. in Foreign and Second Language Education from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, as well as an M.A. in Linguistic Studies from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York.
