Cleveland Institute of Music’s Academy and Public Programs offer immersive programs to elevate musicianship., designed for artists ready to challenge themselves and grow under the mentorship of CIM Faculty.

Centered around the Academy’s comprehensive, sequential approach to music educations, CIM offers programs for pre-college musicians, summer learners, adult learners and opportunities for professional development.

The Academy offers passionate and focused young musicians an elite musical education. This comprehensive, rigorous, and supportive program allows students to grow and master the tools to succeed in music and beyond.

MPF 2023

Musical Pathway Fellowship

CIM's Musical Pathway Fellowship is committed to removing barriers to the training and opportunities required to pursue a career in classical music. Designed for committed and passionate music students in grades 1-12, MPF provides ongoing, holistic support to help students achieve their dreams and potential.

Young Artist Program

Young Artists study with conservatory faculty in a specialized half-day curriculum, benefitting from immersive training through the conservatory, participating in lessons, chamber music, ensembles and classes to prepare for college auditions.

CIM Summer Institute

The CIM Summer Institute offers students opportunities to elevate their musicianship through focused, high-level training, and artistic exploration. The Institute offers immersive study in string chamber music, piano, composition, violin, brass, and more, designed for musicians who are ready to challenge themselves and grow under the mentorship of CIM’s distinguished Summer Institute faculty.

CIM's Public Programs offer various opportunities for musicians of all ages to hone their craft and collaborate with others. Adult private lessons, youth a la carte summer lessons, and rotating professional development opportunities are carefully curated to experience CIM in the way that inspires!
