ChamberFest Cleveland celebrates "Three," starting and ending at CIM

ChamberFest Cleveland, co-founded by two members of the CIM family -- Franklin Cohen and his daughter Diana (pictured) -- is back for a third season, and they'll kick things off in CIM's state-of-the-art Mixon Hall with a concert entitled Celebrate 3! performed at 8pm on Thursday, June 19.

This year's series features 10 concerts (June 19-29) at 6 venues around town, including 4 events at CIM:

  • June 19: Celebrate Three! (opening night)
  • June 26: Love Triangle
  • June 28: Ghost Opera: Past, Present, Future
  • June 29: 3x (the grand finale)

Along with the aforementioned Cohens, CIM faculty and alumni will grace the stages, galleries, chapels and other eclectic venues for this series of chamber concerts. Some of those CIM artists include pianists Orion Weiss and Carolyn Warner, cellist Julie Albers and violinists Jinjoo Cho and Amy Schwartz Moretti.

Take note that several concerts also include a "Prelude" conversation with artists, composers and educators and/or an after show social event or "Postlude" discussion. Individual event tickets range from $5 - $40, while subscriptions run from $111 to $370; young professional and student discounts are available.
