CIM faculty and board ratify first union contract with AFM-Local 4
The Cleveland Institute of Music and American Federation of Musicians, Local 4 are pleased to announce the ratification of their first faculty union contract, marking a historic milestone for CIM and its educators.
This three-year agreement establishes clear standards for compensation, workload, job security, and professional support, strengthening the foundation for excellence in teaching and learning.
Paul W. Hogle, CIM’s President & CEO, expressed thanks to the bargaining teams.
“I am grateful to the many members of the CIM Faculty and administration who worked so diligently to represent their colleagues in crafting this agreement and for keeping the best interests of the students at the forefront of their discussions,” he said. “This agreement ensures that CIM will continue to empower the world's most talented classical music students to fulfill their dreams and potential.”
