Cleveland Continuing to Top Charts as Destination City

Cleveland Continuing to Top Charts as Destination City

This summer The New York Times updated its list of 52 places to travel in 2015, following the lead of three top travel magazines earlier this year.  It included the obvious choices: Milan, Singapore, Manhattan.  And at number 21, nestled between Sri Lanka and Oman, was Cleveland, Ohio. Lucky for us, the Cleveland Institute of Music is right in the cultural heart of the city.  But don’t take our (or their) word for it. Take a look at the slideshow above or come see for yourself!

This comes at the heels of a year’s worth of praise for our Erie-side city in the midst of an exciting revitalization. Earlier this year the Los Angeles Times Travel Section named Cleveland one of 15 destinations that travelers should check out in 2015. Cleveland also made Fodor’s list of 25 must-see travel destinations for 2015 and Travel and Leisure magazine’s 50 Best Places to Travel in 2015.

In The New York Times piece published in July, the Uptown District, where CIM is located, is specifically mentioned for its “newly hip status,” in part due to the newly reopened Museum of Modern Art (0.3 miles from CIM).
