Welcome to the Team

Join the Robinson Music Library staff in welcoming our newest team member, Eric Farnan!

Eric Farnan

Originally from New Hampshire, he moved to Boston and studied double bass performance at the New England Conservatory under Donald Palma. Now a Cleveland resident, Eric joins our team as the Circulation Supervisor as of the beginning of October. Whether it’s setting up your account, utilizing OhioLINK, finding a score on the shelf, or navigating the catalog, Eric is happy to help!

Stop in to say hello and join us in welcoming him to our CIM family!

A Welcome from Your Library Staff

Whether you are a new student or a returning student, we invite you to come and explore everything Robinson Music Library has to offer. A beautiful design combined with enhanced technology and improved lighting and furnishings work together to create an attractive and inviting library conducive to study and expanding your musical horizons. Our dedicated team of librarians and staff members are here to help you with anything you need from your research to your resume. As we like to say, ask us anything!

The mission of the Robinson Music Library is to create a nurturing environment for the study of music, supporting the educational objectives of the Cleveland Institute of Music and fostering our students' own musical growth and development. Just as CIM embraces the legacy of the past and promotes the continuing evolution of music, the Library provides a full spectrum of resources, from traditional print materials to electronic resources. The Library supports and supplements the initiatives of the faculty toward developing the full artistic potential of our students.
