CIM relies on support from corporate and philanthropic leaders to enhance the educational experiences of our gifted students as they pursue their dreams of becoming professional musicians. In addition to the direct impact your partnership will have on our students, your gift will support the fundamental programs and educational outreach that makes music accessible to people of all ages throughout Northeast Ohio.

Corporate and foundation gifts can be directed to the general Annual Fund or to specific programs, such as Opera Theater, Preparatory, Virtual LearningScholarships and many others.

In addition to the direct benefits that come with supporting CIM, our partners appreciate the return on their investment through:

Economic Impact
CIM is a sound investment that is good for the economics of our region. In attracting gifted students, master educators and world-class performers from around the world, CIM has a remarkable impact on the music world and an ongoing economic impact on the state of Ohio. A 2004 study by the independent firm Impact Economics found that CIM's economic impact in Ohio is over $90 million per year!

Partnering corporations and foundations can be confident that their investment in CIM will play an important role in the development of the next generation of classical musicians. CIM students are frequent winners of national and international competitions, and many go on to major solo careers or hold positions in top-tier orchestras and ensembles, including the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra. CIM's faculty are likewise world-class (nearly half of the members of The Cleveland Orchestra are either faculty or alumni of CIM, and many are both).

Marketing and Visibility
Corporations that support CIM benefit from exposure to diverse constituencies. Opportunities vary by level of giving and include such benefits as being named in the CIM Concert Guide, with an annual distribution of 8,000, and recognition at a CIM concert, including the chance to host a reception for employees and clients.

Community Involvement
CIM reaches out to the Cleveland community and beyond in many ways. CIM students perform at retirement communities, hospitals, non-profit organizations and schools throughout Greater Cleveland. CIM reaches more than 11,000 schoolchildren annually through its nationally celebrated Virtual Learning Program.

CIM is also the only venue in the region to produce a full season of free, live classical music. Each year more than 47,000 music lovers gain access to classical music through CIM's programming.
