NON-DEGREE Suzuki Pedagogy


Suzuki Pedagogy Program Department

Master of Music students are invited to register for MUPD 445 and 445a. Students that complete the course requirements will have training registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas for Unit 1 training. Bachelor of Music Conservatory Students are invited to register for MUPD 345 and 345a in the Junior or Senior year. CIM Suzuki Pedagogy students will learn the fundamentals of posture, tone production, along with a comprehensive study of how to build technique from the ground up: how to set up a Suzuki program and train parents; perform from memory and be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the Suzuki Violin/Cello School Book 1 repertoire. Students that complete the course requirements will have Book 1 training registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
