What to Expect 

CIM’s audition days are a window into life at our institution. Our in-person audition days are an opportunity for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you as a musician and person. Your audition day will consist of an audition with the faculty of your area of study, an interview with the admissions team, a lunch provided by Partners for CIM, and optional events like information sessions and tours. See your instrument area below for specific dates for in-person auditions.

Audition Schedule for 2027

February 7, 2027: In-Person Auditions

February 14 and 15, 2027: In-Person & DMA Auditions**

February 21 and 22, 2027: In-Person & Solo Track Artist Diploma/Orchestral Fellowship Auditions**  

February 28, 2027: In-Person Auditions

 **Please note that all DMA auditions will take place on February 14 with diagnostic exams following on February 15. All Solo Track Artist Diploma auditions will take place on February 21 with finalist auditions occurring on February 22. Robinson Orchestral Career Fellowship auditions will take place on February 22.
