When you study trombone at CIM, you’re considered a young professional. That means we’ll support and challenge you to reach your full artistic potential as a teacher and performer.

You’ll have multiple opportunities to perform solo, chamber, orchestral, operatic and new music repertoire. Orchestral participation is virtually continuous.

Your weekly lessons are taught in CIM’s new trombone studio, outfitted to serve as your rehearsal space, gathering place and general home for all things trombone.
