How to Apply

• Complete the online application.
• Complete enrollment agreement and submit non-refundable deposit.
• No audition is required for this age group!

Pre-K students must be at least 3 years old by September 1.

How to Apply

• Complete the online application.
• Submit one reference who is not a relative that can attest to your music making, such as a music teacher or ensemble director.
• Audition in-person at CIM. Recorded auditions are accepted as an alternative when the student is unable to audition in-person.

Your Audition

After your application has been successfully submitted, you will receive additional information to sign up for an audition in Cleveland, at CIM, as well as instruction for recorded auditions, if applicable.

Guidelines for your audition:

• The first round of Academy auditions will be held the week of May 6.
• We are looking for Academy candidates with potential, passion and drive. We encourage all students to audition with any two pieces or excerpts of their choosing: one that the student loves and enjoys performing, and another that showcases their ability level. 
• Composition applicants should submit at least one complete score with an accompanying audio recording of the piece, and one additional piece of the student's choice on any instrument or voice. Works that are in progress will be accepted.

How to Apply

• Complete the online application corresponding to your child's age, found in the accordions above.
• Within the application, select "Musical Pathway Fellowship."
• Submit one reference who is not a relative that can attest to your child's music making, such as a music teacher or ensemble director.
• Applicants for the Musical Pathway Fellowship Apprentice program (grades 1-5) will be contacted during the week of May 1 to schedule an audition.
• The first round of Academy auditions will be held the week of May 6.
